Nagpur:
A high-level divisional review meeting and workshop of the Public Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Maharashtra, was successfully concluded at the AIIMS Auditorium in Nagpur. The session was presided over by State Health Minister Shri Prakash Abitkar and Minister of State for Health Smt. Meghna Sakore Bordikar, marking a significant step towards strengthening the health infrastructure in the region.
Comprehensive Review & Direct Dialogue
Health Minister Prakash Abitkar conducted an in-depth review of various health schemes and the overall functionality of the department. Going beyond standard procedure, the Minister engaged in a direct dialogue with field officers to understand grassroots challenges. His focus remained on the effective implementation of health services and taking necessary strategic decisions to streamline operations for the benefit of the common man.
Minister of State, Smt. Meghna Sakore Bordikar, interacted with the staff, reviewing their performance metrics and providing detailed guidance to enhance service delivery.

Directors Dr. Nitin Ambadekar and Dr. Vijay Kandewad reviewed all National Health Programs, issuing instructions for their rigorous implementation.

Dr. Shashikant Shambharkar, Deputy Director of Health Services (Nagpur Circle), presented a detailed report on the health scenario in the Nagpur division and the milestones achieved by the local administration.
A highlight of the event was the felicitation ceremony, where officers and employees demonstrating excellence in their duties were honoured by Minister Abitkar and MoS Bordikar. This gesture aimed to boost the morale of the health workforce.
